Toma aqui o ctrl c + ctrl v, ó:
Dear Rayra,
Thank you for your recent application through the Science Without Borders Scheme. We are very pleased that you have chosen the University of Salford as your preferred institution. You have been accepted to study on the 2nd year of the BSc Human Biology and Infectious Diseases (BC15) programme and will within the next few weeks be receiving your Certificate of acceptance to Study (CAS)number via e-mail.
The start date for the programme will be communicated to you in due course but is normally around mid September 2013 and further details of the modules you will undertake are available at http://www.salford.ac.uk/courses/human-biology-and-infectious-diseases?mode=cd I must however mention that there may be slight changes made so that we can accommodate the requirements of the exchange programme.
When you have been issued your Visa you will find http://www.getready.salford.ac.uk very useful as it will contain information for you prior to your arrival and also provide information around induction events at the University. The University will be running a welcome programme prior to the start of your programme and you will be informed of all these details via e-mail over the next few weeks as details are finalised.
We have arranged for you to be accommodated in Castle Irwell Student Village http://www.accommodation.salford.ac.uk/page/castle_irwell which is used by many of our Undergraduate Students and again over the next few weeks you will receive e-mail communications about your accommodation, please do follow the instructions in these e-mails and register your name and details for accommodation when requested to do so.
PLEASE NOTE if at any time you receive automated e-mails from the University requesting payment of fees for courses or accommodation please do not worry, all your expenses regarding accommodation and fees to do with courses are covered by your Science Without Borders sponsorship, it is just that you are in an automated system and you may receive this type of communication from time to time. You can of course contact me at the e-mail above if you have any queries.
If you have any queries regarding your programme of study please do not hesitate to contact your Programme Directors/Leaders at: (aqui tinham os e-mails das pessoas responsáveis)
We already have a cohort of Science Without Borders Students here at the University who are enjoying their study here at Salford and their experiences in the UK. We are sure you too will enjoy your stay here, widen your life experiences, improve your English and take back informative and useful learning experiences back to your studies and chosen course in Brazil.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any queries.
Kind regards
Fui bonitinha no site e tcharam! Essas seriam as matérias que eu poderia frequentar:
Genética? Imuno?! Parasito!!! Fisiologia?!!
Dear Anna and Programme Directors/Leaders, hello!
Thank you for contacting me so soon, I confess I was getting a little bit anxious about the arrival of this e-mail lol.
I appreciate the acceptance of my application to the second year of the course of Human Biology and Infectious Diseases, but I do believe that - according to my academic transcripts - I have already attended to most of the modules offered in this year of the course here at my Brazilian University.
For example, during my 3rd and 7th semester at school, I attended to Clinical Genetics classes, and in my 4th semester, I had Clinical Immunology ones. I believe that the module of "Clinical Genetics and Immunology (20 credits)" would be redundant to my educational achievements. In the same way, during my 3rd semester, I attended to Parasitology classes, which content are correspondent to the module of "Parasite and vector biology (20 credits)". The module of "Micro-organisms in action (20 credits)" are slightly correspondent to my Infectious Diseases classes, taken in my 6th semester of college, but I wouldn't mind taking those classes again, due to my will to specialise in this field after my graduation in Medical School. And, finally, during my 2nd and 3rd semesters, I had Human Physiology classes, which are also similar to the "Human physiology (20 credits)" module.
Considering these facts, I would like to know if isn't it possible for me to attend to the 3rd year of the course I chose instead of the 2nd one, or at least taking some of these subjects listed above and substitute them for some of a more advanced year, like "Medical em public health microbiology (20 credits)" and "Epidemiology and ecology of infectious diseases (20 credits)", which are more alike to my aims of study during this year of exchange in UK.
As basement for my previous statement, I send again to you my Academic Transcripts. Please do note that this document is referent to all of my first 7 semesters in school, but now I have already finished the 7th and am beginning the 8th one. If it is of your will, I cant send to you my updated transcripts, that I already own in Portuguese and could get a translated one as soon as possible.
I really do hope you can help me in these matters, because I am quite excited with the idea of studying at the University of Salford in the best way for my academic improvements.
Thank you very much in advance,
Rayra Alcure

8th semester (4th year)

Espero que você consiga ir pro 3rd year! :)
ResponderExcluirAhhh!
